About HollaBack STL JAC
The HollaBack STL initiative at the University of Missouri-St. Louis empowers minority youth and young adults to take charge of their health and wellness through free educational programs. Covering topics such as sexual risk avoidance, HIV/AIDS and STD prevention, substance use prevention, body image and self-esteem, healthy relationships, and success planning, the JAC ensures these programs are culturally relevant and impactful.
The JAC consists of youth and young adults ages 13-24 who develop program recommendations, design marketing materials, and support recruitment for HollaBack STL programs. Members gain valuable experience, build relationships with peers, earn community service hours, and receive recognition at graduation ceremonies. Applicants must be committed, creative, reside in St. Louis City or County, and be aged 13-24. Selected candidates will be contacted via email or phone.
